Crystal Palace defender Joachim Andersen hopes they can sign Christian Eriksen.

The free agent is in talks with Brentford, while he is being linked with Palace.

Andersen said, "Like all other Danes, I follow with excitement where Christian will play, and I also hope that he comes to Palace.

"Now I do not know how realistic it is, but it is clear that he is a class player when he is in shape and at his level.

"But I also do not know where he is, and exactly how the body feels, so I think we should give him the time he needs, and then we have to see where he ends up. But I am just as curious as everyone else."
