Crystal Palace could book Merseyside flight to avoid Everton fireworks

Crystal Palace could fly to Merseyside a few hours before their Premier League game against Everton on Thursday.

The London club are safe from relegation and not in contention for a European spot through the league.

However, Everton are fighting for their lives, and need a win to ensure they remain in the Premier League.

According to the Daily Mail, Palace are thinking about flying to Merseyside hours before the Thursday night game.

They do not want a situation where they are staying at a local hotel, only to have the players unable to sleep due to home fans making noise or setting off fireworks outside the hotel.

The club are also looking at other accommodations options in the Manchester area.
