Crystal Palace are convinced manager Roy Hodgson will not miss the remainder of the Premier League season due to coronavirus restrictions.
People over 70 are being advised by the UK Government to take extra precautions with social distancing due to their susceptibility of catching the illness.
But the Daily Mail says Palace are confident will still able to manage the side if training and matches resume soon.
Matches will almost certainly be played behind closed doors, as Premier League officials begin planning the return with government figures.
The competition hopes it can play matches by June 8.
