Crystal Palace captain Luka Milivojevic lamented failing to get into the game earlier in defeat to Manchester City.

Reflecting on the game at Selhurst Park today, Milivojević accepted that Manchester City were good value for their three points in south London.

"After my goal I think we tried to do something to score one more goal, but if you see the game over 90 minutes they were in control, they were the better team and from my point of view they deserved three points.

"It is very hard to play against these types of teams. I think my goal came at a good time with 10 minutes to go, we tried to surprise them; we had good cross after that, that we should've tried to finish because against teams like this you don't get many chances."
