Crystal Palace are awaiting news on the fitness of centre-back Joachim Andersen.
The Dane was absent for the first time this season as Palace went down to Aston Villa at home.
Andersen missed the game with a hamstring complaint and underwent further scans yesterday, per the Evening Standard.
"Joachim has been playing all the games and he's important to how we want to play," said manager Patrick Vieira.
"We have enough players around to play better than we did today. Collectively we didn't play well enough."
The Eagles are now waiting to see how many weeks Andersen will miss ahead of a packed festive schedule.
The south London club face a trip to Leeds United tomorrow before visiting Manchester United on Sunday.
