Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira is eager to expand his winter transfer budget.'

Palace supremos John Textor, Josh Harris and David Blitzer are due to meet up with the London-based chiefs to discuss the budget, says The Sun.

Vieira wants two or three players to strengthen a thin squad but does not know what there is available to spend.

Textor is struggling to close a deal for Lyon and has money to throw at Palace, while Harris, who was interested in Chelsea, needs to state his commitment to Palace.

It could turn into a key summit.
