Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson is coy over his future plans.

Hodgson, now 72, says he's happy with his current contract.

He told Blick: "I set no goals in this regard. I am very happy now. I stand every day with joy on the pitch."

Hodgson admits he's fortunate wife Sheila is so supportive.

"I signed a two-year contract in 2017, which has now been extended for another year. Sheila does not urge me to stop. I'm very happy about it. Not many people are facing as many exams in life as we athletes. You need someone who understands you and is behind you.

"We have a fantastic time together. Thanks to my job, we were able to get to know many beautiful countries."
