Crystal Palace eased relegation concerns with a 3-1 win over Burnley.
The teams began the day locked together on 30 points but Palace had much the better of things under grey Lancashire skies, with Michy Batshuayi and Wilfried Zaha adding to an own goal from Phil Bardsley.
Ashley Barnes pulled one back late on for Burnley but it was little consolation.
Palace boss Roy Hodgson said, "I'm very pleased with the win, [it was a] very satisfying performance. It's never easy to come and win at Burnley, especially with Burnley in good form at this moment in time. We knew the type of problems they would pose and they did pose those problems. I thought we dealt with them extremely well.
"I was very pleased with the way we defended throughout the game. And of course at the other end when we were able to get hold of the ball, I thought we used it wisely and scored three good goals and were it not for Tom Heaton making a few good saves, we could have had another one."
