Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson does not fear that Aaron Wan-Bissaka will leave the club.
The 21-year-old stated his intent to remain at Selhurst Park next season, despite interest from Manchester United and Manchester City.
And Hodgson is content with the speculation surrounding his young star.
He said: "It's a fact of life. When you have players who do well, they're always going to be coveted by other clubs," Hodgson said.
"We understand football works that way but the whole point for us is he signed a long-term contract with us and we signed him to be a long-term player with us.
"He's doing well here, he knows he's well appreciated here. I have no reason to fear he won't be continuing here."
