Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson is yet to speak with the board about a transfer budget this summer.

Hodgson is free to start his preparations for next season after the London club confirmed their Premier League survival with a 3-2 win at Arsenal last weekend.

“I have no idea what finances will be available, what players could leave us and which will definitely stay," Hodgson said after Saturday's 0-0 draw with Everton.

“This is what we need to sort out in the next few weeks. I can't give you answer that top managers give because they have a cheque book in which they say I want this player, search the world and get them.

“Wait until the end of the season, he will let me know then what sort of support that will be. It will be the best possible."
