FC Midtjylland's Norwegian international Alexander Sorloth is interesting Crystal Palace.
The Daily Mail says Palace boss Roy Hodgson is prioritising a striker in case Christian Benteke gets injured or needs a rest and is looking at Sorloth and Jordan Hugill of Preston, both valued around £8million.
Hugill was left out of the Preston squad that played Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night amid increasing interest from The Eagles.
Reports have also linked Hodgson's side with a move for Burnley forward Ashley Barnes this month.
Barnes has been an unlikely target for Chelsea this window but is unlikely to join the reigning Premier League champions.
