Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson is targeting a new midfield addition.
The Sun says the Eagles are looking at Spanish midfielder Victor Camarasa or Everton's James McCarthy as they search for an extra body.
Camarasa, 25, is available on loan from Real Betis and knows the Prem from a season with Cardiff.
McCarthy, 28, wants to go and would cost a fee — but is cheap enough for Palace to afford.
The Eagles have joined Watford in the chase for Rennes' Senegalese sensation Ismaila Sarr, available for £36m.
The French club think a European giant will come in for the quick and strong wideman, so have snubbed growing Premier League interest so far.
