Crystal Palace boss Hodgson targets Liverpool striker Solanke

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson wants to bring Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke back to London.

Liverpool are weighing up whether to allow him to leave on a temporary basis in January.

And Crystal Palace are among the English Premier League clubs keen on the England Under-21 striker, who also has interest from Rangers in Scotland.

Solanke stated last week: "Jurgen Klopp is a great manager and he knows what he is doing, especially when he is bringing people through.

"You can see what he has done with Trent (Alexander-Arnold) and Joe (Gomez) at the moment and how far they have gone. They have been two vital players for us this season. I have known them for a few years now so I have seen them breakthrough and he definitely helped them."
