Crystal Palace boss Hodgson confirms Zaha fit for Chelsea

Crystal Palace are delighted with the news that Wilfried Zaha is ready to go for the upcoming Premier League game against Chelsea.

Zaha missed out on the Carabao Cup defeat to Middlesbrough.

Palace lost the game 1-0, continuing a trend of being unable to win without their talisman.

But boss Roy Hodgson said he should be okay for the next game.

"He was fine the last time I saw him," said Hodgson after the game.

"He took a bang on the shoulder at the weekend which will be fine by the Chelsea game. It would have been difficult to play him [against Middlesbrough] with that knock anyway, but I spoke to him yesterday and he said he was fine."
