Cruzeiro president Gilvan Ribeiro is not planning to sell Everton Ribeiro in January.
The winger is a top target for Manchester United, while Real Madrid and Liverpool are also monitoring developments.
But Gilvan wants to keep Everton for the Copa Libertadores campaign, which will run until the European summer.
"We know it will be hard to keep him after the Libertadores. But we do not intend to sell our players before the Libertadores, we want to keep the squad together, it will be our biggest investment in the team," he said.
