Crotone supremo Giovanni Vrenna is adamant they're not interested in Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli.

The Reds are eager to offload the Italy international, with manager Jurgen Klopp admitting they needed to find a "solution" for the striker.

Vrenna told Premium Sport: "It was a joke from my brother.

"It is true that in recent years we have 'recovered' many players, but perhaps with Balotelli it will be too difficult (laughs)!"

Balotelli has also been linked with Sampdoria this week.
