Crotone striker Maxi Lopez says he's forgiven PSG ace Mauro Icardi.

Icardi, on-loan at PSG from Inter Milan, had an affair with wife Wanda Nara while she was married to Lopez and they were teammates at Sampdoria.

“I chose to be happy and made a lifestyle choice. Things can go well or badly," Maxi told Club 947.

“My relationship failed, but I became a father from it. It was just a situation. Things go on and I chose to live like this: with energy and good vibrations.

“I think I chose the best option. Everyone has problems and complications, but your life develops based on how you cope with them.

“I've forgiven Icardi and I have no problems with him. My objective in life, besides football, in a human sense, is trying to find and give happiness to my children.

“The only objective I have is that. The rest has already passed for me. It's a page I turned a long time ago and it doesn't put any strain on me at all."
