Crotone president Raffaele Vrenna admits they've spoken to Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli.

Crotone are looking forward to their first ever Serie A campaign.

“I must admit I did make a phone call to Mino Raiola about Balotelli," Vrenna told GazzaMercato.

“At Crotone we have the ideal environment for talented young players to grow and express themselves. We could've been the right place to relaunch an incredible talent like Balotelli, who unfortunately is coming off two not so great seasons."
