Real Madrid hero Davor Suker was visibly angry at last night's FIFA gala.

Suker was furious that Barcelona star Leo Messi and Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo both snubbed the ceremony as Real and Croatia midfielder Luka Modric was named The Best for the Player of the Year award.

Suker is now president of the Croatian Football Federation and hinted there'll be more to say later this week.

"I will not spoil this night but in a few days I will say something more," he stated.

"Life is not only a bed of roses. When you lose you have to have respect."
