Croatia coach Ivica Olic has no doubts about Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric's readiness for the Euros next year.

The Croatia captain will be 35 when the postponed tournament kicks off next summer.

But Olic is adamant the Ballon d'Or will be as good as ever, insisting: "Knowing Luka, his mentality and his way of working, this does not play an important role for him. I am sure that he will be even better next year, he's like that.

"When he plays for Croatia, he is always incredibly motivated, even 300% prepared, and, due to the way he maintains and cares for his body, his age won't be a significant problem."
