Cristiano Ronaldo informs Juventus management of season plans

Cristiano Ronaldo has informed Juventus management he will report for the first day of preseason training.

The Portugal captain is now inside the final year of his contract and there has been talk of his agent, Jorge Mendes, sounding out clubs across Europe about taking on the striker.

However, Gazzetta dello Sport says CR7 has let the Turinese know that he is determined to come back after a refreshing vacation and that his thirst for titles, in particular the Champions League, remains intact.

Mendes, meanwhile, is willing to enter talks with Juve about a new deal.

The new contract would run to 2023 and will likely involve a cut on his current €31m salary.
