Crewe Alexandra are considering selling Max Clayton this summer.

The Sentinel says 18-year-old Clayton rejected the offer of new terms mid-way through last season and little progress has been made since then.

That could rush Crewe into a transfer deal this summer rather than risk their luck with a tribunal next year.

Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City have all been linked with the England youth ace.
