Owen Coyle is set to be confirmed as the new manager at Blackburn Rovers.
The Scotsman departed his job at MLS club Houston Dynamo last week in order to be closer to his family and it is now being reported that he will step into the vacancy at Ewood Park.
The Daily Mail believes that Coyle could be quite a controversial selection by Blackburn due to his ties with their fierce East Lancashire rivals Burnley, who he managed between 2007 and 2010.
Coyle, 49, took over at the Dynamo prior to the 2015 MLS season but has ended his time in Texas to return to England and will reportedly are straight back into the coaching caper in the UK by replacing Paul Lambert at Blackburn.
