Coventry City are closing a deal for Bolton Wanderers striker Danny Ward.
The Mirror says Coventry boss Aidy Boothroyd has won the chase to take Bolton's young midfielder Ward on loan - but he will have to sign a long-term deal with Wanderers before he goes.
Boothroyd has talked Ward into joining him ahead of a handful of other Championship rivals.
