Coventry City have sounded out Chelsea about extending the loan spells of midfielder Jack Cork and fullback Patrick van Aanholt for the rest of the season.

The duo are scheduled to return to Stamford Bridge next month.

But Coventry boss Chris Coleman said: "We obviously want both players to stay.

"We've not come to any agreement yet, but it's something we'd like to put to bed."
