Coventry City are waiting on word about extending the loan of Aston Villa midfielder Callum O'Hare.
The Sky Blues are waiting on clarification from the EFL as to whether the football authority will grant an extension to allow O'Hare to remain on loan from Aston Villa for as long as the season may last - and the Sky Blues hope the decision will not be in Villa's hands.
Asked about the loan situation, Coventry's chief executive Dave Boddy said: “As part of our submission we said that loans should be extended for as long as the season is extended.
They haven't come back and confirmed that, by the way, so it's a very good point."
He added: “I don't think it will be about the parent clubs, I think it will be what the authorities do."
