Coventry boss Chris Coleman is preparing to make a bid for Carlos Bocanegra.

Coleman signed the American while at Fulham and wants to be reunited with him as part of his Championship rebuilding job.

The defender, who played 42 times for the United States, has been with Fulham since joining from Chicago in 2004.

The Sky Blues lost 2-1 at Watford on Saturday and are just three points above the relegation zone.
