Thibaut Courtois has again talked up former Chelsea teammate Eden Hazard joining him at Real Madrid.
Hazard is a top summer target for Real coach Zinedine Zidane - and Courtois is also eager to see the move happen.
He told Onda Cero: "He is one of my best friends in football. I do not know if he is going to sign for Madrid, nor do I know if the club wants him, for me he is a great player but I do not decide those things, each one decides what he does with his life.
"For me he is one of the best in the world and as a friend I would like him to be here.
"I think he wants to come."
Courtois also insisted he didn't seek to disparage teammate Gareth Bale in a previous interview.
He added: "Bale is one of my best friends in the locker room, I speak with him in English. He knows Spanish eh, I get along very well with him because I also love golf. He is an excellent player. That interview was poorly translated."
