Former France goalkeeper Benoit Costil has no doubts about the future of AC Milan No1 Mike Maignan.

Costil says Maignan is destined to become the world's best.

The Auxerre keeper told MilanNews: "There is no doubt that Maignan has become a reference at European and world level regarding goalkeepers.

"There are currently huge goalkeepers in the world but Mike is complete. He has all the qualities and is also charismatic. I guess he's quite disappointed and frustrated since the World Cup was a big target.

"I'm really sorry but I'm convinced he's the future of the French national team."
