Newcastle's hiring and firing spree in the past two years will cost the club £15million in compensation once the costs of removing Dennis Wise and Kevin Keegan are taken into account, reports Sportsmail. Payouts for Glenn Roeder, Sam Allardyce and their staffs totalled £5.72m and the club will now have to pay Wise more than £1m in addition to a potential £8m that is claimed by Keegan and is currently being negotiated.
The huge sums are on top of the £1.8m Alan Shearer will earn if he manages to keep Newcastle up.
