Jack Cork hopes Southampton can keep hold of Luke Shaw.

Cork has pleaded with Arsenal and Chelsea target Shaw not to quit St Mary's.

Former Chelsea youngster Cork said: "I think the best thing for Luke would be to stay here. Everything is set up for him to play in the Premier League. He will only improve here and playing will help him.

"As long as he works hard and does everything he has to he will go as far as he wants.

"He is a good defender, good on the ball, has a really nice left foot, he's quick and not many people get round him."
