Cordoba signs new Inter Milan contract

Ivan Cordoba has signed a new four-year contract with Inter Milan.

The Colombian defender put pen to paper on a new deal this afternoon that will keep him at the club until he turns 36 years of age.

"We can say, simply, that this is a lifetime contract, because this is the meaning of the agreement and these are the sentiments tying me to Inter," he said on the official website.

Cordoba has not played since sustaining a serious knee ligament injury during the ill-fated Champions League match with Liverpool on February 19.
