Steve Coppell has left the door open for players to leave in January if their heart is not in the club.
The Reading boss says he will not stand in the way of anyone who is less than 100% committed to the Royals cause and wants to get away.
Coppell has made it crystal clear that he will not tolerate a lack of commitment from players. And any players sold in January would raise more funds to spend in the transfer window.
Coppell told The Chronicle: "The one thing I will say, and that goes for everyone here, is that I only want players who want to play for the club.
"If they don't, and for whatever reason that might be, it's best for all concerned if they move on.
"Supporters only want players who want to be here giving their all. That rule undoubtedly applies to the whole squad including Leroy(Lita) and Nicky (Shorey). That doesn't change for different individuals.
"In my opinion, that has always been the best way of doing things. If someone doesn't want to be here and they are not happy with the way things are going then it's in their best interests, and ours, that they move somewhere else."
