Wigan boss Steve Bruce is reportedly set to sign Olivier Kapo for the second time, having taken the player to Birmingham City when he was in charge at St Andrews.

Earlier this week Bruce re-signed Daniel De Ridder, whom he had recruited for Blues a year ago but who was released by current manager Alex McLeish as surplus to requirements.

Now he is reported by the Manchester Evening News to be lining up a bid for 27-year-old French international winger Olivier Kapo, having expressed interest in the player at the back end of last season.
