West Ham's Dyer upbeat on recovery

West Ham midfielder Kieran Dyer is well down the road in his recovery from last year's horrific broken leg.

Dyer suffered the injury last August, in only his third start for the Hammers following his £6.5million move from Newcastle.

After embarking on a gruelling running session, he is determined to be fit for the start of next season and a source revealed: "Kieron was blowing a bit but he's just glad to be able to run after such a long time out.

"He has the entire summer to concentrate on getting back to full fitness."
