West Ham and Wales striker Craig Bellamy is riding high after his baby's health scare.

The Wales striker missed the 2-0 loss to Germany on Saturday through complications with his daughter's birth.

But Lexi was given the all-clear on Monday - allowing Bellamy to fly out to Slovakia for tonight's Group D clash.

Bellamy, 28, said: "I love football but my wife and kids mean more.

"Everything is OK and it's a case of catching up on sleep and food."
