West Ham boss Alan Curbishley doesn't expect to splash out big in the January market.

"We are not actively looking," said Curbishley. "Unless we have an absolute disaster in one area I am happy with the squad we've got.

"I can't even turn round to the board and say I'm disappointed with so-and-so who I've signed - because I've not seen them all play!

"We've not been in a position where the new signings have been put in the team all together to see what sort of side we've got.

"I've got a big squad and I am hoping one or two players will be fit before the window opens and during it, and that will make us that much stronger."
