West Brom boss Tony Mowbray admits he'll be trawling the loan market in January.
"It's not a financial long-term commitment to the club," he told the Birmingham Mail.
"It's the best of both world. The player sees if he likes the club, we see if we're successful together and whether we can make it permanent.
"Some clubs will only let players go on loan if there's a fixed fee at the end of it so you have to make a considered opinion on it. Loans can be complicated, as well as being easy."
