West Brom hopeful of agreement for Majewski

West Brom boss Tony Mowbray hopes to clinch a deal for Polish international midfielder Radoslaw Majewski.

The Birmingham Mail says the Baggies are reluctant to match Groclin Dyskobolia's asking price, which is in the region of just over £2.3million.

If a fee cannot be agreed in the next fortnight then Albion may look elsewhere, although the general feeling in Poland is that Groclin are unlikely to play hardball in negotiations, given that the going-rate for transfers in the Ekstraklasa league is considerably lower.
