West Brom boss Tony Mowbray admits he's delighted with the early season form of left-back Paul Robinson.

"Robbo is doing well, as they all are," said Mowbray. "When I'm picking my teams I don't have any concerns about him but he does need to keep his standards high and play consistently week in, week out.

"We have other options in that area and Paul needs to make sure, as every other player in the team does, that his standards stay high because competition all over the pitch is going to be intense.

"Paul, by his natural instincts, is an aggressive player but I just want Paul to play the game he plays week in, week out.

"We have to make sure he keeps his quality high, which he has done extremely well.

"He does it every day in training and he is bringing it to the pitch."
