West Brom boss Tony Mowbray has confirmed trials for Bohemians midfielder Mindaugas Kalonas.

"These things go on in the background at football clubs where scouts go out, identify players, reports come onto my desk and say 'yes' or 'no'," said Mowbray.

"I've never seen him but I think he's got a good enough pedigree.

"He might survive one day, two days, a week. I might think he's great and we'll sign him.

"Robert Koren came on a trial basis and we signed him.

"The kid's not here yet so I don't know any more about him."
