West Brom boss Tony Mowbray admits he could cut loose several of his fringe players this summer.

He said: "We'll there be some players leaving?

"As we bring players in, players will be looking around and seeing if they're going to get an opportunity. I would suggest there will be a natural evolution of the team really. People will enquire about players and then I will make decisions about where we're going to be.

"If one or two leave as the season draws nearer then so be it. I'm not the sort of guy who likes to push people out and stick them in a field so they get so disenchanted they want to go.

"Everyone has got an opportunity but ultimately footballers get a feel of whether they're going to be a part of something or not."
