TV pull plug on Premiership managers

Premiership managers won't have access to TV replays in their dugouts next season.

The Daily Mail says bosses will find it far more difficult to argue the toss from next season when all TV monitors will be removed from the technical and tunnel areas.

Managers and their assistants will therefore no longer have access to slow-motion replays as ammunition against referees and their assistants over controversial decisions that go against them.

The move is one of a number of initiatives, to be announced before the start of the season, that were agreed at the recent Premier League summit to ensure the Respect Campaign for referees gathers momentum.
