Tough start in India for Cambodia's Aussie coach O'Donell

It was a tough start for Aussie coach Scott O'Donell after his Cambodia was humbled 6-0 by India in Friday's Nehru Cup clash.

Sunil Chettri and Steven Dias scored a brace each while captain Bhaichung Bhutia and N.P. Pradeep scored a goal apiece to give India a flying start in the five-nation tournament that has been revived after a gap of 10 years. Dias was adjudged the Man of the Match.

"It is good that we scored lot of goals after a long time in an international match. It will be confidence booster for the boys for the rest of the tournament," said Indian coach Bob Houghton at the end of the match.

For O'Donell, it was a real baptism of fire: "It was not about my midfield or defence. The whole team crumbled today."
