Former Nantes and Sedan midfielder Steven Thicot hopes to win a deal at Hibs.

Thicot said: "I received a phone call from people at Hibs because they knew about me from my games with the Haiti national teams. After that, I was happy to come here.

"I have not signed anything yet but I am hoping I can stay in Scotland.

"I think something should be sorted out over the next few days but the manager has not yet spoken to me."
