Filipe Teixeira hopes to be available for West Brom in September.

The Portuguese midfielder is recovering from a knee injury and told the Birmingham Mail: "I'm anxious to play in Premier League - it's one of the reasons I came to England and joined West Bromwich.

"The club has reached that target and it's just a shame I couldn't be there to celebrate.

"I have even more incentive now to make sure I work hard during training.

"The club's medical and coaching staff have been very supportive."
