Maik Taylor admits his future at Birmingham City depends on Premiership survival.
Taylor, 35, is due to be out of contract and when Blues were relegated in 2005-06, Nico Vaesen was not retained.
"Once it does, then we will sit down and see where we go. My family is settled in the area, I love it here and I'm still enjoying it thoroughly and hopefully we can sort something out.
"Hopefully we will stay in the Premiership, that would make things easier. If we got relegated, then with the cutbacks and everything like that, there's a slimmer chance of remaining.
"It happened last time, we went with two goalkeepers in the Championship and Nico Vaesen, who was out of contract, had to leave. So yes, it is some incentive to stay up."
