The defender's agent Tommy Cunningham revealed Sonko was delighted to be back in the Premier League.
"Ibrahima has agreed to join Stoke and he has signed a three-year deal," Cunningham told skysports.com.
"He is delighted to be back playing in the Premier League and he is looking forward to playing for Stoke.
