Singapore Armed Forces win S-League title

Singapore Armed Forces Football Club (SAFFC) have won a third straight S-League title. The title was wrapped up last Friday when SAFFC defeated Home United 1-0 but couldn't finish off the season with a win when they drew with Gombak United 3-3.

SAFFC midfielder and former Exeter City player John Wilkinson was delighted to be a part of the club's history.

"I've been with the club since 2006 and this is the sweetest one because we made history," said Wilkinson.

"I don't know if the team will still be together next season, but these three years have been special for me, playing together with this special group of players."

The SAFFC now have their sights set on the Singapore Cup final against Woodlands Wellington on Friday.
