Scotland boss Alex McLeish has revealed how he uses the media to keep tabs on his players beyond the SPL.

"You can spend three or four hours on the internet and I know all the evening newspapers of the clubs the players are with," said McLeish.

"From the Derby Evening Telegraph, I get up-to-date news of those boys at Derby.

"I check the websites every week and the match reports, so I manage my time well."
